What are the steps to setup my Hubble camera on iOS using Wi-Fi®?

All Hubble products can only be set up using either an Android™ or an iOS mobile device.

(To see which versions are supported, please check this link: https://hubbleconnected.com/requirements). Currently Windows and Kindle are not supported.

You can download the app onto the mobile device from the Apple App Store. Go to the App Store to search for "Hubble for Motorola Monitors". Download the Hubble for Motorola Monitors App and install it on your mobile device.>

The Hubble for Motorola Monitors app will always try to do setup using Bluetooth first. If that fails or if you tap on ‘Skip to Wifi setup’ (IMAGE 3+4) the Hubble for Motorola Monitors app will use Wi-Fi® instead.

Follow the below steps for the setup:

  • Ensure your mobile device is connected to your Wi-Fi® router.
  • Open the Hubble for Motorola Monitors App and type in your login details (if you already have a Hubble account, you'd select 'Already have an Account?').
  • Once logged in, tap on the + symbol and then on the ‘Camera’ Icon to add a Hubble camera. (If you want to add a Tag to your Focus86 camera, you tap ‘Focus Tag Sensor’ instead.)
  • Plug your Hubble camera into the power outlet and make sure it's ON. Press and hold the ‘Pair’ button on the camera for 3 seconds until the Hubble camera tells you 'ready for pairing'. When the LED starts to blink, tap 'Continue' and the setup instructions will appear on your screen.
  • The Hubble for Motorola Monitors app will search for nearby cameras.
  • When no cameras can be detected using Bluetooth the Hubble for Motorola Monitors will show you instructions to do setup using Wi-Fi®.
  • The first step is to close the Hubble for Motorola Monitors app and to open your Phone Settings.
  • Navigate to the Wi-Fi® settings where you can see your Hubble camera listed as if it were another Wi-Fi® network.
  • If your Hubble camera doesn’t show up, press and hold the ‘Pair’ Button on the camera again for 3 seconds.
  • Select your Hubble camera from the list and connect to it.
  • Now close your Phone Settings and open the Hubble for Motorola Monitors app. You will see that the Hubble for Motorola Monitors app detected for your camera. If the CameraHD is listed, tap ‘Continue’.
  • The next step is to connect it to your Wi-Fi® router.
  • To do this you select from the list the Wi-Fi® network to which you want to connect your Hubble camera and you tap ‘Continue’.
  • Fill out the password of your Wi-Fi® network and tap ‘Next’ in the top right corner.
  • This will allow your Hubble camera to get connected to your Wi-Fi® router.
  • When successfully setup you can change the name of your Hubble camera (or do this in a later stage) after which you tap ‘Continue’.
  • And when tapping 'View Live Camera' you will go to your timeline with the feed visible.
